Sheet 01 — The problem

None of this is a software problem — until it costs you a project.

Every builder we have sat with runs on the same four tools: WhatsApp, an Excel sheet, a diary and a supervisor who remembers everything. It works until you are running four sites. Here is what breaks first, and what replaces it.

01 · Today

Enquiries arrive on WhatsApp, Instagram and the office phone, and live in whoever picked up.

The follow-up nobody made
With BuilderSiteNow

Every enquiry lands in one inbox with an owner, a stage and a follow-up date. Overdue ones show on the home screen until someone acts.

02 · Today

Two people quote the same 2,000 sq.ft job at two different rates, from two different Excel files.

Margin given away at the table
With BuilderSiteNow

One set of packages and rates for the whole company. Every quotation is versioned, GST-correct and goes out as a branded PDF or a link.

03 · Today

You learn a site has slipped when you drive there on Saturday.

A week lost before anyone reacts
With BuilderSiteNow

A daily site diary with photos from the engineer’s phone, stage percentages that move on their own, and a forecast finish date that shifts the moment a task slips.

04 · Today

The client rings every few days asking where their money went and what got done.

Trust spent on explaining
With BuilderSiteNow

Send one share link. The client sees progress, photos, the payment schedule and what is outstanding — no login, no app, and you can revoke it any time.

05 · Today

Material is ordered on a phone call and the bill turns up higher than what was agreed.

Overpayment nobody catches
With BuilderSiteNow

A purchase order first, then the bill matched against it. Over-billing is blocked at entry, and nothing is paid until it is verified.

06 · Today

Wages sit in a supervisor’s notebook, and payroll takes a full Sunday to work out.

Advances forgotten, days disputed
With BuilderSiteNow

Mark the crew present in seconds at the site. The same muster becomes the payroll run, advances recover themselves in instalments, and the run posts to the cash book.

07 · Today

Cement and steel reach the site, and nobody records what was issued to which floor.

Stock that quietly disappears
With BuilderSiteNow

Goods receipt in, issue to site out, stock-take to correct. On-hand is computed from those movements every time, per site and at the central store.

08 · Today

You find out whether a project made money after it is handed over, and GST and TDS become a March scramble.

Decisions made a year too late
With BuilderSiteNow

Every rupee posts to one append-only cash book as it moves, so project profit and loss is live. GST and TDS are recorded on the transaction itself and export to Tally as XML.

Every one of these is the same problem wearing a different hat: the information exists, but not in one place, and not in time to act on.

Sheet 02 — What it costs

Put a number on it, with your own figures.

Registers, Excel sheets, calling the site for an update, re-typing the same figures into a bill. Move the sliders to your reality and see what those hours add up to in a year.

Hours a year on paperwork1,152
That is working days144
At the rate you set₹4.6 L
3 × 8 h × 48 weeks · 8 h day

Your numbers, multiplied — nothing more. We are not claiming BuilderSiteNow gives all of this back. It moves the recording to where the work already happens, so the same hours produce a bill, a payslip and a report instead of a register.

Sheet 03 — Getting started

Running on your real sites in a week.

No signup form and no credit card. We set it up with you on a project you are actually building, because a demo on sample data proves nothing.

01

A demo on your own numbers

Half an hour, in Tamil or English. Bring one live project — we set it up in front of you with its real budget, stages and payment plan, so you are looking at your job and not a sample one.

No signup, no card
02

Your team on their own phones

Each person gets a login that opens on their own work — the supervisor marks the muster and updates progress, accounts sees bills and receipts, and pay stays hidden from whoever should not see it.

Android and iOS
03

Fourteen days on a real project

A guided trial, not a free tier left to fend for itself. We stay on WhatsApp through it, and at the end you will have a fortnight of your own attendance, bills and progress sitting in the system to judge it by.

Support in Tamil throughout

Sheet 04 — How it connects

Run your entire construction business in one flow.

BuilderSiteNow is not a collection of separate modules. Each step hands its numbers to the next one, so nothing is re-typed and every figure traces back to the entry that produced it.

All 184 capabilities across the seven suites. Search it rather than scroll it — type GST, Tally, attendance or reorder and see exactly where it lives.

Sheet 07 — Made here

Built for construction businesses in India.

Not a global product with an India setting bolted on. The tax, the units and the paperwork are the ones your accountant and your client already use.

GST

GST tax invoices

CGST and SGST within the state, IGST outside it, reverse charge where it applies — on vendor bills, purchase orders and client invoices alike.

TDS

TDS on vendor payments

Section, rate and withheld amount recorded on the payment itself, with a deducted-by-vendor report ready at filing time.

RERA

RERA escrow tracking

Escrow percentage per project, with collected-versus-required and your free share shown against every registered site.

Tally

Tally-ready export

Ledger vouchers export as Tally-compatible XML, so your accountant keeps working the way they already do.

UPI

UPI & online collection

Send a client a payment link and the receipt posts itself against the right project and the right stage.

Cent

Cent, ground and sq.ft

Enter land the way it is actually quoted in Tamil Nadu — cent, ground or acre — and the built-up area converts alongside it.

Sheet 10 — Questions

What builders ask us first.

The questions that come up in every demo, answered the way we answer them on the call.

My supervisor can barely use a smartphone. Will he manage this?

The two things a supervisor does every day are built for exactly that. Attendance opens with the whole crew already marked present — he taps only the people who did not come. Progress is a photo and a line of text. Nothing else on his phone needs a keyboard, and we train him in Tamil on a call.

Will my competitor or anyone else see my data?

No. Every tenant is isolated — your company's records are separated at the database level, not filtered in the screen, and every read is checked against your company on the server. Inside your own company you decide who sees what, module by module, and pay is gated separately from everything else.

There is no network at my site. Does it still work?

Partly, and it is worth being precise. The mobile app keeps a read cache, so what was already loaded stays readable with no signal. Marking attendance or saving progress needs a connection at the moment you save. Most site teams do it from the gate or the site office where there is signal; full offline entry is on the roadmap, not in the product.

I already have two years of data in Excel. Do I lose it?

No — we bring across what is worth bringing during setup: your sites and their budgets, employees and wage rates, vendors with GSTIN and outstanding balances, and materials. Line-by-line history from closed projects is usually not worth the effort, and we will tell you when we think that is the case rather than quietly charging for it.

Is my accountant going to fight me on this?

Usually the opposite, because nothing is taken away from them. GST is split as CGST and SGST within the state and IGST outside it on every bill and invoice, TDS is recorded with section and rate on the payment itself, and ledger vouchers export as Tally-compatible XML. They keep working in Tally; they just stop chasing you for paper.

Can I file GSTR from inside the app?

No. The app produces GST-correct invoices and bills and exports to Tally, but GSTR filing reports are on the roadmap and not in the product today. If filing from inside the software is a hard requirement for you this month, say so on the demo and we will tell you plainly that we are not there yet.

Is the app in Tamil?

The people are, the interface is not yet. Onboarding, training and support are all in Tamil, and this catalog is bilingual. The workspace itself is English today — Tamil inside the app is on the roadmap. We would rather say that here than have you find out on the demo.

Do I have to buy the whole thing?

No. It is licensed suite by suite — CRM, projects, interiors, estimates, procurement, HR and payroll, finance, reports. A firm that only wants attendance and payroll buys that. An interiors company buys interiors without ever owning construction sites. You add the rest when you need it, and what you already use does not change.

Is there a free plan?

No, and that is deliberate. Free tiers in this category get signed up for and abandoned, because nobody sets up their sites properly on their own. Instead you get a demo and then fourteen guided days on a real project, with us on WhatsApp. If it has not earned its place by day fourteen, it will not on day ninety either.

What happens to my data if I stop paying?

It stays yours. Reports, ledger entries and registers export to Excel and PDF, and ledger vouchers to Tally XML, throughout — not as a parting favour. Export the lot before you go and your accountant loses nothing.

Can it connect to my existing software?

Tally, through XML export. Beyond that, a public API for third-party integrations is on the roadmap and not available today, so a live two-way sync with another system is not something we can do for you this quarter.

I do interiors, not construction. Is this for me?

Yes, and as its own product rather than a construction project with the words changed. Fit-out is priced on carpet area, quoted room by room in mixed units, and tracked through design, client sign-off, factory production and installation. You can buy it without ever owning the construction sites module.

What isn't in the standard package.

Worth knowing before you buy, not after.
