Cookie Policy
We use only the minimum browser storage needed to run BuilderSiteNow — no advertising cookies, no third-party tracking pixels. Here's the full list.
Section 01
In short
Here's the whole policy in a glance — BuilderSiteNow:
We store only what's needed to run the app and remember your device preferences. We'll never add advertising or cross-site-tracking storage without a clear in-product notice.
Section 02
How we use browser storage
We rely primarily on localStorage rather than cookies, because we don't use cookie-based authentication. The only cookies we set are short-lived session helpers; everything else is per-device preference data that stays in your browser and never reaches our servers unless you take an action.
Section 03
Cookies we set
We don't set authentication or tracking cookies. The only first-party cookies you may see are framework-level (e.g. Next.js prefetch metadata) and expire when you close the browser tab.
Section 04
What we store
Everything below lives in your browser's localStorage:
| Item | Purpose | Required |
|---|---|---|
auth-storage | Keeps you signed in across page reloads | Required |
theme-mode | Saves your light / dark preference | Optional |
sidebar-theme | Remembers your sidebar theme | Optional |
onboarding-checklist-dismissed | Remembers you closed the getting-started card | Optional |
None of these are sent to advertising or analytics networks.
Section 05
Analytics
We don't use third-party analytics on this site at this time. If we ever add privacy-preserving, server-side analytics, we'll update this page and tell you in-product.
Section 06
Controlling your storage
You can clear our storage at any time:
- Sign out from inside BuilderSiteNow — clears your auth token immediately.
- Browser settings — clear localStorage and cookies for this site from your browser's privacy panel.
- Incognito / private window — nothing persists after you close the window.
Clearing localStorage will sign you out and reset your preferences.
