Questions builders ask
Does it do per-square-foot estimating?
Yes — that is the primary model, because it is how most Indian residential builders quote. You set rates per project type and quality tier, and the estimate computes from the built-up area. Cent and ground are supported as rate drivers where land area is the basis.
Can I send the quotation in Tamil?
The PDF engine embeds a Tamil font and renders Tamil text correctly, so specifications, notes and terms can be written in Tamil without the characters breaking. The product UI itself is currently English.
Is there a detailed BOQ?
Estimate creation is deliberately package-based rather than line-item BOQ — a quotation a builder can produce in ten minutes beats a BOQ that never gets filled in. Detailed quantity work belongs downstream, after the job is won.
Does the estimate handle GST?
Yes. Tax is applied per your GST registration, with the builder as supplier and the client as recipient, and the resulting document is a proper tax invoice rather than a plain total.
