How is progress calculated?
From ticked activities, not a typed percentage. Each stage has its activities; completing them rolls the percentage up. That means the number means something, and two people cannot report the same site differently.
Can I stop site staff from seeing project margins?
Yes. Access control is fine-grained, and money is a separate permission grain from progress. A supervisor can update work done without ever seeing the budget, the client payments or the margin.
Does it work offline on site?
The Android app keeps an offline read cache, so previously loaded project data stays visible without signal. Writes sync when the connection returns.
Can clients get updates without logging in?
Yes. Updates are sent over WhatsApp rather than requiring a client to remember a portal password, which is what Indian clients actually expect.
